1. Purpose
These Terms define the conditions and notices for using HoguMeter (the "App"). The App is an entertainment-purpose taxi meter simulation service designed to make drives with friends more fun.
2. Service Features
- GPS-based distance and time measurement
- Simulated Hogu fare calculation and live display
- Regional fare, night surcharge, and regional surcharge settings
- Trip history, map routes, and statistics
- Receipt image generation and sharing
3. Entertainment Purpose and Fare Disclaimer
All fares displayed in the App are simulated values for entertainment purposes.
- They may differ from actual taxi fares.
- They do not create legal effect or payment obligation.
- They must not be used as evidence for fare disputes, transportation fee claims, or real fare verification.
- Regional fare settings are used only for in-app simulated calculations.
4. Location and GPS Accuracy
The App calculates distance, speed, and direction based on GPS and device sensors. Errors may occur in the following situations.
- Tunnels, underground areas, indoors, or dense high-rise areas
- Restricted location permission or weak GPS signal
- Device power-saving mode, network conditions, or map service delays
- Temporary GPS jumps or reduced location accuracy
5. User Responsibility
- Users must use the App safely and lawfully.
- Drivers must avoid risks caused by operating the App while driving.
- App results must not be used as the sole basis for real fares, legal materials, or driving decisions.
- Users must comply with applicable laws, traffic rules, and third-party rights.
6. Service Changes and Suspension
The developer may change or discontinue part of the App due to feature improvements, bug fixes, external-service policy changes, or operational needs.
7. External Services
The App may communicate with Apple Maps services for trip map display and address conversion. The developer is not responsible for limitations caused by external service availability, accuracy, outages, or policy changes.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the developer is not liable for direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from use of or inability to use the App.
9. Changes to These Terms
These Terms may be updated due to app feature changes, legal changes, or operational policy changes. Material changes may be announced through app update notes, the website, or in-app notices.
